Plastic Surgeon Gary R. Snider, M.D.

Dr. Snider grew up in Ogden, Utah. He attended the University of Utah on an “honors at entrance” scholarship and received a B.S. in Biology. He went on to earn his M.D. with honors in 1982. He completed his general surgery training at St Joseph’s Hospital in Denver in 1988, and became board certified in general surgery. He traveled to Houston for his plastic surgery residency which he completed in 1990 at the University of Texas. He finished a microsurgery fellowship at Washington University and then traveled to France where he worked with Dr. Guy Foucher at the Strasbourg Clinic.

He returned to Denver in 1991 to join Dr. Douglas McKinnon and Dr. Richard O’Donnell in the private practice of plastic surgery. He earned his board certification in plastic surgery in 1993.

His practice is limited to cosmetic patients. Abdominoplasty, breast surgeries and facelifts comprise 90% percent of his practice.

He loves snow and water skiing, hiking with his friends and family and volunteers for medical missions providing cleft lip and palate surgery to indigent patients, currently with Mending Faces based out of Denver, Colorado.
